Hi my name is Howard the inventor of the Mosquito, I know that my device is being used unjustly but where it is used properly it has saved the tax payer thousands and transformed the lives of many.

I have always wanted legislation to ensure it is used appropriately and with your help I might get! I have been asked to manufacture a unit with a retail price of less than £100 although I stand to make a mint I know the potential trouble this could cause. If I stopped selling the Mosquito you can be sure that some one else far less scrupulous would. As for an Outright ban this is very unlikely and has been tried in the European Parliament, it failed spectacularly. I have met with Oli and he is broadly in agreement and with your help we can get this sorted once and for all. I only invented it when my own daughter couldn't enter the local shop because of a small group of anti social Teens that the Police failed to sort.

Its never been proved it's safe. And it won an Award?

In a United Kingdom survey of the responses of adults exposed to high frequency sound in an occupational context for the Health and Safety Executive in 2001, it was concluded that the studies were inadequate to establish guidelines for safe exposure. The Mosquito's manufacturer relies on these inconclusive adult studies to justify the safety of the device, a device aimed at the youth. We at Bite Back are calling on the Government to do a conclusive study on all age ranges, including toddlers and babies in the womb, to make sure that these devices are in fact safe.

We also would like someone to justify the giving of a IG Nobel Peace prize to the designers of the mosquito. The device isn't peaceful at all, it deliberately causes harm and discomfort, and causes division within communities.
